Travel industry leader Global Connections, Inc. (GCI) has announced thatWhite Oak Lodge and Resort in Gatlinburg, TN has received the TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence. The resorts was also inducted into the TripAdvisor® Hall of Fame for earning the Certificate of Excellence for five years in a row.
Now in its ninth year, the achievement celebrates hospitality businesses that have earned great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year. Certificate of Excellence recipients include accommodations, eateries and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a quality customer experience.
GCI’s awards are based upon consistently positive reviews submitted by Global Discovery Vacations members and guests throughout the year.

The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and timeliness of reviews submitted by travelers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months. The ‘Hall of Fame’ honors those businesses that have earned a Certificate of Excellence for five consecutive years.
