Smoky Mountain Spring Events

If the holiday season left you with an urge to plan and book your next vacation, then you are not alone. The cold days of January are an excellent time to think about your upcoming stay at White Oak Lodge and Resort.

The Smoky Mountain area has some great events to look forward to. Whether you had these events on your agenda already, or consider them a nudge to head our way, we’d love to welcome you this spring!

Corvette Expo Pigeon Forge
March 2-3

Back for its 41st year, the Corvette Expo is still going strong. The event will take place at its new location, the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge. You are in for hours of fun with a swap meet, judged competition, indoor and outdoor vendors, dozens of showcars, a sales corral, and the “Corvettes Cruise the Smokies” drive, which will take place on Friday after the Expo.

Smoky Mountain Trout Tournament
April 7-8

Does spending time with your family, partaking in your favorite activity, and having the chance to win cash and prizes sound like an excellent weekend to you? Look no further than the Smoky Mountain Trout Tournament. Before the event, more than 10,000 trout will be released in over 20 miles of streams. With different categories and divisions, you may find yourself to be the “Ace Angler.” Cook your catch in your cabin or condo kitchen!

The Smoky Mountain Trout Tournament is coming in April.

Pigeon Forge Spring Rod Run
April 19-21

If you can’t make it to the Corvette Expo, or just need some more hot rods in your life, then you won’t want to miss the Pigeon Forge Spring Rod Run. Car enthusiasts will gather in the LeConte Center once again for this three-day event. As one of the biggest car shows in the Smoky Mountain area, this event will draw more spectacular rides than you could have ever imagined. Bring a camera and wait for those engines to roar!

You’ll Find it in Gatlinburg

Once you are done with admiring those muscle cars, or catching that trophy trout, be sure to check out all the other fun things to do in and around Gatlinburg. Great Smoky Mountains Nation Park, Dollywood, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the possibilities are endless.
