Father’s Day in the Great Smoky Mountains

The Smoky Mountains provide a great place to celebrate dad this Father’s Day. If you’re staying at White Oak Lodge and Resort this Father’s Day weekend, check out some of these attractions that are especially dad-friendly.

Whether your dad is a fisherman, sports fan or just likes to relax in the breathtaking beauty of the Smoky Mountains, there are plenty of fun things to do with dad.

Take Him out to the Ballpark
The Tennessee Smokies Baseball Team, the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, will be playing Mississippi at Smokies Stadium on Father’s Day. The park will be honoring all dads with special raffle prizes and more.

Rock Out at Hard Rock
Pigeon Forge’s Hard Rock Cafe is a great place for a drink and delicious meal. The first 100 dads through the doors on Father’s Day will get a gift and will be entered to win a huge sports package.

Gone Fishing
With thousands of miles of streams and one of the last wild trout habitats in the east, the fishing enthusiast will love the Great Smoky Mountains. Hiking with dad is also a great idea.

Hit a Hole in One
A great game of golf is easy to come by in Gatlinburg and the surrounding areas. For family fun, check out the awesome mini golf options like Ripley’s Davy Crockett Mini GolfProfessor Hackers Lost Treasure Golf or Lazerport which has indoor backlight putt-putt.

Take Dad for a Spin
Does he have a need for speed? Check out NASCAR SpeedPark, The Track, or Adventure Raceway for awesome Go Kart rides.

Even though staying at White Oak Lodge and Resort is a great way to celebrate Father’s Day all by itself, now there are even more options to explore on dad’s special day.
